“Perdue Builders replaced siding with Hardie Color Plus for my home, replaced five outdated windows, added soffits, repaired some brick work, and coordinated the replacement of our gutters. The result was outstanding. The home looks new and craftsmanship was great. The thing that stood out for us was the customer service and crew that worked on our home. The office staff were very response during the bidding process and through the project. I was emailed a response in less than 24 hours for every question I had, and I never felt like I couldn’t ask even small detail questions. The crew on site were professional, showed up every morning at 8am six days a week until the project was completed which differed from other contractors we have had that often were working multiple parallel jobs and weren’t consistent. The crew was extremely friendly even my neighbors commented that they thought the crew was great. The project manager was always super helpful. We had several discovered work items and things I wanted to tweak. Perdue Builders always said yes and didn’t make me feel like I was annoying them with the change requests or when I asked about fine details. They wanted us to be completely happy with the work and not have any nagging I wish we would have concerns with the project. We liked the crew so much that honestly we kind of miss seeing them. I also appreciated that the crew took care of all the details such as reattaching new lights, accessories, painting to few areas that weren’t replaced to match so that there wasn’t follow up work for me to do. Overall great value, team, and love the results.”

“It went extremely well. Team was very communicative and walked through with us at the end of most days to find any imperfections. They also repaired a chimney that was rotting and showed me what needs to be done to prevent in the future. Both siding and painting were of excellent quality with flashing in all the right places and perfect lines. Framed all windows around the house and were clean and friendly at all times.”

“Perdue Builders just completed replacing 30 year old cedar siding with Color Plus Hardie Plank and Hardie Trim. In addition, they replaced one window and painted everything that wasn’t replaced (i.e. soffits, decks, etc.).

“The majority of the work was done nicely. Small items like not scraping off old putty on wood work, and just painting over the top of it, and the slight damage done to outdoor, metal window frames really did not give the house an “entirely new” look as was discussed during contract. Perdue was (and continues to be) available for fixing items that we found made our home look less than “new.” The crew is professional, and hard working. Our home (a 2,000 sq foot - 2 story) took 2 and a half months (and it took my husband and I a month to finish the yard clean up). It was difficult to continue asking for changes we felt looked aesthetically problematic. The price of the job WAS lower than some other siding companies. I don’t know that I would have chosen pre-painted Hardy Siding had I known of some of the limitations, and the difference in color between the samples, and siding are pretty dramatic. That being said it turned out to look good (more gray than blue though).”
